text log item stuck/hangs/stopp log

Hello roboremo freaks,

first: GREAT TOOL, THANKS ALOT!!!

HW: STM32/HC-06/LGG2 Android 4.4.2
Problem:
The text log stop working after time (~2 min). Data recieved by roborremo with BT all 0.5 sec. It shows the last recieved data/text in text log, but hangs.
I try to change id of text fields, i also use. Delete other items, build Project again.. but the problem is stil there.
All other items: text fields work with any Problem.

Strange, one week before, it works and no hanging. Now, after a totaly refresh of my mobile (from cyanogenmod cm12.1 [lolipop 5.0.2] back to stock [Android 4.4.2] i have this Problem.

Need textlog, becaus of many many values of gyro sens(in future)

Hi,
So you send data every 0.5 sec. How long is each string? It may be a text log buffer getting full, I have to check that.
Try to send every 1 sec and see if the working time increases to 4 min (please let me know the result).

String size: 9 signs + dertimination char '\n'
example= "t1_value1"+'\n'
TEST with string size of 10, (switch "n1 value1"+'\n'  "n2 value1"+'\n' in time delta_t)
restart app every test round

RESULTS:
delta_t in [ms]     stuck after:
1000                           needs too long
500                             needs too long
200                               3   min 39 sec
100                              120 sec
  50                               60 sec  
  25                               35 sec

Thank you for the detailed data!
It is a bug in the app. It does not set the buffer max length for the text log, and the default max length seems to depend on the phone / Android version.
I will fix this bug in the next app version.
